Developing sites together.

A platform of power, storage and compute needs partners on the ground. A Trustvolt project succeeds when the people around the site do well out of it. This page sets out what we offer each partner and what we ask in return.

Landowners and site owners

Former power stations, industrial estates, mines and logistics land with a heavy connection. We offer long-term leases or purchase with staged payments, take remediation and permitting risk where we can price it, and keep you informed through development.

What we ask: an exclusivity period to complete technical due diligence, and openness on the site's history.

Municipalities and regions

Data campuses bring skilled jobs, business-rate income and — where a network exists or can be built — low-cost heat for homes and industry. We plan heat reuse from the start, commit to local procurement where it is competitive and publish what we will and will not do on a site.

What we ask: an early, open conversation about zoning and services before we file an application.

Grid and utility companies

We bring flexible, storage-backed load that can support the network rather than strain it, and we co-invest in connection upgrades. Our campuses are designed for demand response and for exporting stored power at peak.

What we ask: a realistic energisation timetable, and a willingness to explore flexible-connection terms.

Data-centre operators and hyperscalers

Powered land and powered shells with contracted renewable supply, in the 50–250 MW range, designed for high-density AI workloads with liquid cooling. We take the development and power risk; you take capacity when it is real.

What we ask: early engagement on specification, and a long-term commitment once the site is de-risked.

Contractors and equipment suppliers

We work with a small number of engineering, construction and equipment partners on repeatable designs across the portfolio, under fixed-price or target-cost contracts.

What we ask: a track record on comparable projects and appetite for a framework across several sites.

Advisers, banks and co-developers

Project finance, PPA structuring, planning and environmental advice, and co-development of generation. We prefer long relationships to tenders.

What we ask: tell us in two sentences where you think you add value, and we will answer.

How a partnership begins

  1. First conversation

A call or a visit. We tell you what we are looking for; you tell us what the site or the need looks like.

  2. Initial assessment

We check grid, zoning, solar and wind resource and environmental constraints. It takes two to four weeks and costs you nothing. Then you know: yes, no — or what is still open.

  3. Letter of intent

We put the key points in writing: exclusivity, lease or purchase, and the timetable. Clearly worded, yet binding enough to build on.

  4. Development

Connection, permits, generation and tenant. You receive a regular written update and a named contact throughout.
